A1:Buddhism started in 580 BC with the birth of Buddha a.k.a. Siddhartha Gautama, he searched for enlightenment. He found it and taught people of the path to enlightenment.

A2:Buddhist must have a special transmission outside what is practiced, obey the scriptures, can't depend on books or words and must attain Buddhahood.

A3:One is reborn into another body or enters Nirvana(heaven).

A4:Most of the religion doesn't have a leader, but the people look up to Buddha.

A5:One is the Mahayana New Years which happens on January 30-Febuary 1. It is important because people can make a new start. Another is Buddha Day which happens on May 27. This is important because Buddha is the leader.

A6:All over the world, but the country with th most population of Buddhas are in China.

A7:Around 400,000,000.

A8:Buddhism wanted other things then what Hinduism offered.

A9:They relized their differences.

A10:No, there are lots of cycles that they keep going through.
